BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police have alerted state and surrounding agencies about a possible kidnapping, according to authorities. About 7:15 p.m. Friday, Bridgeport emergency personnel received a report that a child's biological father came to a park at Wordin Avenue and Hanover Street and took the child, who was under the care of a foster parent, police said. The father is Douglas James, age 30, according to police, who said James was driving a maroon 2014 Honda Civic EX with the registration number BE36105. Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport police at 203-576-8477 or contact the nearest police department.
