By David Moreno, Fort Worth Report April 8, 2022 The smooth guitar riffs, the low plucking of the bass, the boomin' beating of the drums, and the groovy sound of the keys were on full display at Music on Main at the Main Street Arts Festival. The 35th edition of the festival kicked off Thursday and will feature hundreds of performers on four stages along the streets of downtown Fort Worth through Sunday. Blues and soul band, The Rhythmators, were the first performers of the festival on the UTA MAIN Stage at 9th Street. The Main Street Arts Festival is an annual event that returned this year after a two-year hiatus due to COVID. The event showcases different artists, street performers, and food counters on Main Street, from the Tarrant County Courthouse to the Fort Worth Convention Center.
