Been playing for over 15 years with experience playing in settings from piano/drums duo, funk/jazz trios, jam bands and various other projects. Versatile across many genres but mainly interested in Funk, Jazz, Blues, R&B/Soul music and classic rock. Reply if interested in making some great music! I’m 59. Starting with my age will likely keep many from reading any further, but it means I offer 43 years of professional experience.I like to play and sing, and I enjoy a variety of music. I’ve found most audiences also prefer a large variety, so I’m not interested in playing only one genre.I sing country and classic rock, I prefer Country from the 80’s and 90’s, or even some of the older stuff. Yes there is some new stuff I like but prefer the 80's/90's country with good harmonies. I’ve already had a long career in music, so I’m not looking to play every Friday and Saturday… 1/3 weeks a month would work well.Looking for drummer that enjoys playing and is not looking to make a living at it or becoming a star. I have a group of players (mostly retired) that want to get together and do some playing on a steady basis. ( maybe once a week) We have a wide range of musical interests that range from pop, rock, blues, jazz and country. The main goal now is just to get together and make some music and have fun. No stress. No drama. You don't need a resume of all the stars you have played with or all the albums you have been on or all the major international tours you have done. Just looking for a drummer in or near Gallatin that likes to play. If it ends up we could play a few shows a month that would be great. If not, that's fine too. We prefer Upbeat dance rock/pop songs from the 80's (Cars, Pretenders, Stray Cats), 90's (Supergrass, Blur) into contemporary (Killers, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Muse), occasional Motown hits and much more. Looking for someone who is eager to perform in front of people. Stage presence is essential. looking to form a doo-wop group...must be familiar with the songs of the 1950's..i play a snare drum with brushes only for a softer sound...some songs i sing include artists The Penguins, Flamingos, Moonglows...you should know these artists and more...instrumentals should include keyboard, sax, and good vocals...game plan is to rehearse and play gigs...Your songs arranged and/or recorded in my private studio. I can supply any instrumentation you need to turn your music into professional-sounding stereo tracks. Specializing in traditional rather than high tech sounds.
