Press release from the City of Louisville: April 5, 2022 Notice of Action on a Title V Construction Permit The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District (District) proposes to issue a construction permit to Bakelite Synthetics (formaldehyde and phenolic resin production), 6200 Campground Road, in accordance with Regulation 2.03. This permit is being issued to construct one single bagger in an enclosure connected to a baghouse control device. The 30-day public comment period starts on April 7, 2022, and ends on May 9, 2022. A public hearing may be scheduled if the District determines that there are germane, unresolved issues or substantial public interest, in accordance with Regulation 2.07.
