LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Friday, April 1, and Thursday, April 7.

Friday, April 1
A case of identity theft was reported from the 200 block of Anderson Road at 3:55 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibily more than one, filing a tax return in their name.A criminal tresspassing was reported from the 1000 block of Stony Hill Road at the Hampton Inn at 3:27 p.m. A man known to police, who had previously trespassed on the location, was on the scene when they arrived.Saturday, April 2
A case of identity theft was reported from the 500 block of Kings Road at 5:00 p.m. The complainant reported receiving a credit card that they did not apply for.Monday, April 4
A case of identity theft was reported from the 2100 block of North Crescent Boulevard at 10:54 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibly more than one, filing for unemployment benefits in their name.A forgery was reported from the 300 block of Richard Road at 2:45 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibly more than one, forging their name on a political petition. A case of counterfeiting was reported from the 1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite at 6:58 p.m. The store's Loss Prevention reported three men entering the store together and two of them attempted to pass counterfeit $100 bills.Thursday, April 7
A complainant reported solicitors for Power Home Remodeling soliciting in the area without permits on the 200 block of Emerald Drive at 12:48 p.m. The man were advised by police that Power Home Remodeling has been banned from soliciting in the township and will be issuing a citation to the company.
