We are seeking an Electrical Power Engineer for our large, well-established client located near Seabrook, NH. Working with the guidance of a Senior Electrical Engineer, this person will assist with the design, implementation, system analysis, and commissioning of medium and low voltage systems used by Industrial and Utility power generation markets. Under the guidance of a senior engineer, you will be responsible for design, development, and implementation including software, hardware, and systems design integration of the various components on any given project. Responsible for providing support for a variety of projects, traveling to some remote locations (domestic and international) and working with clients. Implement the specialty software, power calculations, system analysis, development of relay protection, and control settings. Must have experience designing control panels, one-line diagrams and/or three-line diagrams and possess working knowledge of 480V and medium voltage power systems. Must have AutoCAD experience and the ability to learn industry specific software, as needed. Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and other regulations and standards. Minimum of BSEE is preferred; however, an equivalent degree or experience may be accepted. Minimum of two years of hands-on electrical engineering experience is required. Power utility industry experience is strongly preferred. Competitive salary and outstanding benefits package including relocation from within the Continental United States.
