Handyman/Facility Maintenance position open with our elite team at Sunset Chevrolet in Sarasota, FL. Due to retirement, we need a committed team member to keep up the appearance and operation of our facility. Dependability and work ethic are a must. We count on the person in this position to keep our dealership running smoothly by handling routine and immediate situations for the buildings and grounds i.e. lawncare, light painting, electrical, spill clean-up, waste disposal, etc. Facility Maintenance Duties Keep dealership clean, organized, and operating smoothly Replace bulbs, light electrical and other maintenance/repairs Lot maintenance including weed control Waste management including proper disposal Attend all scheduled shifts on time Other duties assigned to assist in the operation of the dealership Run errands for store for special events, sales, etc. Facility Maintenance Requirements Candidate must have a valid driver's license, clean record and verifiable work history Must be able to lift 50 pounds and physically able to work a demanding, fast-paced shift every day Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hvac, etc. Previous facility maintenance experience required, automotive dealer experience a plus Sunset Automotive Group Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage Life Insurance Paid Time Off - 2 weeks after first year Employee Discounts at all Sunset locations Pay Plan based on experience And more!
