LIVERMORE, CA — No injuries were reported after a woman driving without a driver's license crashed into the Consuelito Market on Olivina Avenue in Livermore Thursday afternoon, police said.
The driver was a 30-year-old woman from Livermore who police said did not have a driver's license. They believe she confused the brake pedal for the gas pedal when she was trying to park and accelerated into the market.
Photo Credit: Livermore Police Department Both the driver and her husband were cited with misdemeanor charges. The husband was cited for allowing the woman to drive his car without a license.
It's estimated that the cost of repairing damages to the building will be at least $5,000.
