JOLIET, IL — A Will County grand jury on Thursday returned an indictment against a 63-year-old Crest Hill man in connection with a fifth offense of drunken driving. Michael Foltyn, who lives in the apartment units in the 1400 block of Pioneer Road, is charged with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence.
According to court records, the warrant for Foltyn's arrest was stayed by one of the Will County judges. The judge's name was not legible on the court records. In any event, Foltyn has a court appearance set for May 4 on Courtroom 302.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 28, 2021, Foltyn was driving a Chevrolet on Pioneer Road in Crest Hill while his alcohol concentration in his blood was 0.08 or more. The complaint also notes that Foltyn has four prior drunken driving convictions, all from Cook County: May 10, 1985, Jan. 1, 1990, Jan. 26, 1991 and Nov. 5, 1992.
