ELMHURST, IL – Two Elmhurst residents were arrested on domestic battery charges this week. Both were taken to the DuPage County Jail, police said. Here is the information from the police reports: William Aubin, 51, of Elmhurst, was arrested at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Adele Street on a charge of domestic battery. Police said Aubin choked a woman during an argument. Aubin was twice charged with domestic battery in 2020, according to police reports. Nicole Hughes, 45, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 2 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of St. Charles Road on a charge of domestic battery. According to police, Hughes battered another woman, causing scratches and a cut. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
