PARAMUS, NJ — A 30-foot box truck delivering Amazon packages hit a tree and pole before it flipped on it's side, but the driver walked away with only minor injuries, police say. The Friday morning crash closed the center and right lanes on Route 17 northbound in Paramus from approximately 6:20 to 8:15 a.m., but traffic flow has since returned to normal, said Deputy Chief Robert Guidetti. Guidetti says the driver of the truck, a 26-year-old from Perth Amboy, fell asleep before the accident.
