Looking for a full-time, year-round position with benefits that is consistently 40 hours per week? White Spruce Trailer Sales is searching for a Trailer Prep Technician who has a great attention to detail and is well organized. As a prep technician, your main role is to prepare the trailers for sale, maintain a professional appearance of the lot, perform basic repairs, and occasionally help customers with trailer check-outs. The perfect candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where each day brings a different task list. Job Description: Primary Duties include building and prepping trailers for sale; assist in unloading incoming trailers from trucks with forklift; performing safety checks on new trailers and lot equipment; assisting with customer check-out for new trailer purchase; prepare stacks of trailers to be transported to other business locations. All tools and equipment will be provided. This position requires someone who has experience with forklifts, is detail-orientated, organized, works well within a team environment, can multi-task and is willing to help in any aspect of the daily operations. As you will be interacting with customers at times, a clean and professional appearance is required. This is a year-round, full-time position with benefits. Compensation: $16.00-18.00/hour DOE Work Hours: Monday – Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm Position will be scheduled for 40-48 hours/week, but overtime is not guaranteed. Position would require a minimum of 5 working days per week with a rotating schedule for Saturday’s off. Requirements: Forklift experience Light electrical knowledge to include troubleshooting Clean Driving Record Current Valid Driver’s License 18 years or older Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., kneel, bend, squat and stand without discomfort. Additional skills that would be helpful: Basic knowledge of trailer-specific repairs to include hubs, bearing, etc Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance Benefits: Company benefits offered include paid vacation, paid holidays, paid sick time & matching contribution for retirement.
