Hello everyone… I am looking for a new home for my 5 year old husky/pitbull mix. He is fully house trained, crate trained (crate will be provided), neutered, up to date on all shots, obedient, and very loyal. Maverick LOVES the outdoors - especially swimming and playing fetch. He’s a stick and ball fiend! He definitely needs his exercise, so a home with a large property (and possibly another dog friend) would be ideal for him. He is great with cats and other dogs of all sizes, and I assume he would be good with larger farm animals (not sure about birds). Mavericks biggest flaw is not knowing his size/strength, and because of this lack of understanding, children tend to be afraid of him. My husband and I are getting ready to expand our family which is, sadly, why we are looking for a better place for Maverick to live out his best years with adult company and no kids at home. I have loved this sweet boy since he was a tiny pup and it is so hard to think of him not being with us anymore, but after lots of long talks, we think this is the best course of action for us and him. All in all, he’s really a big baby who just wants some love when he chooses, but is mostly happy just laying on the floor or couch in the same room as you! He’s a great house dog that loves the outdoors and we’d love for him to find a home that allows him to continue living this way. Please contact me with any questions!
