POSITION SUMMARY
Under supervision of the Facilities Director, Pool Technicians are responsible for assisting in the cleaning, maintenance and repairs of pools, buildings, restrooms, playgrounds, as well as related work for the CCHOA as required. The Pool Technician is responsible for chemical checks and overall safety and appearance of the facilities and equipment. Maintenance performed will ensure safety and wellbeing of visitors and patrons.
Essential duties and tasks include the following. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
Maintenance and Janitorial
Works independently with minimum supervision
Inspects pools and buildings for needed maintenance, repairs and custodial requirements and makes repairs where possible.
Make adjustments to pool chemicals and equipment as needed
Inspect facilities regularly for unsafe conditions and reports any issues to the Facilities Director.
Contribute positively to the overall success of Circle C HOA and Circle C Aquatics through customer service and collaboration with management
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is routinely performed in an outdoor setting as well as indoors
Some work areas may involve difficult terrain
Subject to various external elements including sun, and hot and cold temperatures
Able to set-up and take down equipment and decorations as needed in all areas of the Aquatics Facilities and Community Center
Occasional lifting and moving heavy objects, using assistance as needed
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required
High School Diploma
Reliable transportation needed for local Austin travel
Valid Texas Driver's License
Availability to work weekends and holidays
