Circle C Homeowner's Association is currently hiring for the position of Pool Technician. This is a 25-30 hour per week part time year round position. POSITION SUMMARY Under supervision of the Facilities Director, the Pool Technician is responsible for helping in the maintenance of pools, pool areas, and restrooms, as well as related work for the CCHOA as required. The Pool Technician is responsible for chemical checks and overall safety and appearance of the facilities and equipment. Duties performed will ensure safety and wellbeing of visitors and patrons. Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Essential duties and tasks include the following. Other tasks may be assigned as needed. Pool Maintenance and Facility Janitorial • Make adjustments to pool as needed (chemicals, controller settings, water level, adding chemicals) • Inspect and clean pools and facilities, including restrooms, pool deck, pump rooms, etc. • Inspect outside of facility • Check for ants, wasps, etc. and resolve issues • Maintain facility for unsafe conditions (benches, bathrooms, sidewalks, guard stands, umbrellas) • Works independently with minimum supervision PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Work is routinely performed in an outdoor setting as well as indoors • Subject to standing, walking, running, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders and other physical movements involved in pool maintenance • Occasional lifting and moving heavy objects, using assistance as needed EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS • High School Diploma Preferred OTHER Required • Reliable transportation needed for local neighborhood travel • Valid Texas Driver's License • Work safely and follow all safety rules • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
