JobSource is looking for a Production Supervisor in the city of Compton. Shift:1st Pay Rate: $20-$25 Depending on Experience  SUMMARY:  Responsible for supervising shift and directing the production of vinyl dip molding products and Secondary Operations by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. •    Supervise all activities and personnel in the department in order to meet the requirements of internal and external customers. •    Scheduling jobs to meet product development and production requirements. •    Ensure products in their areas are identified and segregated properly. •    Maintain temporary employee’s timesheets. •    Forklift operation. •    Schedule tank changes and cleanings and tool cleaning. •    Schedule and/or package orders appropriately to ensure on-time completion and delivery. •    Monitor vinyl scrap and compile previous days' scrap reports. •    Maintain Raw Material inventory. •    Ensure that all employees follow documented procedures, especially for safety and quality requirements. •    Prepare necessary information and documents for departmental meetings with management. •    Monitor and continually improve efficiency. •    Maintaining respect of supervisor, co-workers, and those supervised. •    Communicate any non-conforming or non-compliance situations with the area Plant Manager and Quality Director •    Initiate / Approve Corrective and Preventive Actions as it pertains to their area.  •    Striving to achieve incentive program requirements (by minimizing scrap by applying consistent dipping parameters and appropriate adjustments when indicated by the inspector). •    Assist in Preventative Maintenance program, when needed. •    Constant improvement of production efficiency.  •    Constructive contributions to department meetings. •    Maintaining respect of supervisor, those supervised, and all coworkers. •    Assist in day-end housekeeping procedures.
