Description
Air Comfort, Inc. is a local HVAC Company working in the new commercial construction sector of the industry.
We build the duct work and any other accessories needed for HVAC work utilizing flat sheet metal, along with welding grease duct for kitchen hood exhaust from the hood to the roof. This fast-paced environment currently moves around 12,000 pounds of metal each week.
Job Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Maintain a great work ethic with a desire to advance personally and professionally
• Maintain a positive and trainable attitude, while working with others
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to purchase tools needed to complete and be successful at your job
• Take basic verbal and written directions.
• Read a tape measure down to a 1/8th inch.
• Lift and move up to 75lbs
• Work with insulation and the equipment used to adhere insulation to duct work
• Welding experience preferred but not required (thin gauge metals such as 20 gauge to 1/4” – MIG & TIG)
• Work safely around and with machinery as well as watch out for safety of others
Primary Responsibilities
• Insulation: glue and weld pin insulation to matching pieces
• Assemble fittings
• Load/separate completed pieces out for specific jobs
• Bending/breaking duct
• Assist with making flashing, angle, slip, drive and other custom pieces required for jobs.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance in the shop
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (ability to work overtime if needed)
Wage Scale: up to $15.00/Hour depending on experience
Benefits available: Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental plans after 60 days
Holiday pay after 90 days of employment
Paid Time off after 1 year
