As a Conservative, I like to choose Supreme Court Justices based on their adherence to our LAWS and our CONSTITUTION. If a judge doesn't follow our laws, or if they want to 'change' our Constitution, I have a BIG problem with that. Democrats actually seek out judges who are on the 'fringe'; judges who are 'activists', trying to create 'change' in the 'system'. What Democrats forget is, the 'activists' who are always seeking 'change' are called "politicians", not 'judges'. Two separate things. Politicians have the job of creating laws and/or changing laws. Judges are supposed to simply interpret those laws and abide by them, in accordance with the Constitution. We don't need "activists" on the Supreme Court. The other thing with Ketanji Jackson is, just like Kamala Harris: Joe Biden limited his choices, by making this all about race and sex, instead of seeking the best qualified person for the job. There's only 9 people on the Supreme Court. It would be comforting to know that ALL of them are on the same page, and devoted to upholding our laws and Constitution as written. Our laws and Constitution are the ONLY things that separate us from Communist and Third-World shithole countries.
