Looking to rehome our black mouth cur. We adopted this wonderful dog a few days ago from a shelter but my son is severely allergic to her. I don't feel comfortable returning her as she was miserable there. She is 18 months old and weighs 47lbs. Spayed and has had all her shots. I have all the shelter paperwork to pass on to you. She is: Very friendly (loves adults, kids, dogs big and small) Intelligent (She has learned to sit in 2 days) and seems to be fully potty trained. Not food aggressive and she takes treats very gently. A cuddler Energetic and playful Good on a leash (doesn't pull) She would be a good watchdog as she rarely barks except when someone comes up to our house. As soon as I tell her it's fine she stops. I don't have cats but from our walks she seems good with them. She does great with my 12lbs senior dog. She does need to be taught not to jump up but she is very smart and treat motivated so I doubt it would take long. She does come with her things: Some toys, brush, dog bowl, leash, collar, treats, food etc. Rehoming fee just to recoup some of what I spent on her. You will need a house with a fenced yard.
