SHOP FACILITIES MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST • Shipping and receiving • Drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas • Maintain stock of shop supplies • Conduct general and basic repairs and preventative maintenance of buildings, shop and yard as needed • Responsible for in-house maintenance of facilities • Light carpentry, painting, electrical repairs, and modifications • Maintains and cleans garbage and recycling units • Plows snow and applies salt to parking lot and sidewalks to ensure safe environment for employees and visitors • Assist with the managing and organization of supplies and materials as needed • Other duties as assigned Skills/Qualifications: • Mechanically inclined with knowledge of a wide variety of tools • General knowledge of repairs and maintenance • Willing to adhere to and perform functions according to company and OSHA guidelines • OSHA 10-hour safety training certificate, a plus • Have a valid, clean NYS driver’s license, CDL a plus • Adaptable to exposure to outside weather conditions, including wet, humid or cold conditions • Able to lift up to 90 lbs., climb, stoop, kneel and crouch • Possess good organization and communication skills • Be motivated to work efficiently without constant supervision as well as cooperatively with coworkers Benefits: • Health and dental insurance benefits offered at 80% of cost • Company-paid life insurance • Group 401K plan • Paid vacation and holidays • Comprehensive training and safety programs • Small business with a family-oriented work culture that values the safety and development of its employees M.
