New position open for a heavy equipment mechanic in a rapidly growing construction equipment dealership. Service, maintenance, and repair is performed on customer's equipment, equipment sold out of our facility, and rental equipment. We perform full engine overhauls, hydraulic component rebuilds, and transmission rebuilds. We have a well-equipped facility with parts inventory on hand, a machine shop, welders and torches, plasma cutters and anything you might possibly need to effectively repair construction equipment. Looking for an individual who isn't foreign to working on excavators, backhoes, dozers, wheel loaders, and even small construction equipment/tools like compactors and air compressors. We carry a full digital library of service and technical data so you can perform your job with the information necessary to do so. Positions open in both in house service department as well as field service. Requirements: • Must have at least 3 years’ experience in working on industrial equipment • General electric diagnostic skills using a multi meter or power probe • Must be able to read and understand a wiring schematic • Experience with working on diesel engines and troubleshooting issues • Experience with working on hydraulic components and troubleshooting issues • Must be able to read and understand a hydraulic schematic • Proficient with welding and fabricating
