Northern Spotted Owl Survey Technician Wildlife Technician needed for temporary/part time position for Northern Spotted Owl surveys in the northern coast of California. Areas include Humboldt, Trinity, Del Norte and Mendocino counties. Applicant must have completed relevant coursework and be willing to learn. This position will require working independently, possible overnight shifts and weekend working remote locations. Applicants must be proficient in map reading, orienteering and GPS. Applicant must have current driver’s license and clean driving record. They will ideally be able to drive and navigate forest roads both during day and night. Good physical skills, vision and hearing are necessary.
