JOB/ROLE: Manufacturing/Casting Operator TYPE: 6 month Contract-to-Hire LOCATION: Gaithersburg, MD SHIFT: 6:30AM-3PM Apex Systems is looking for a contract employee interested in a 6 month contract-to-hire position as a Manufacturing Operator to join a leading Life Sciences facility located in Gaithersburg, MD. The qualified candidate pays close attention to detail, works to maintain a safe and efficient work environment, and is a communicative team member. REQUIRED: - 1-3 years of manufacturing experience - Experience operating heavy machinery - Ability to lift up to 100lbs - Ability to adhere to SOPs - Fully Vaccinated (booster not required) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follow recipes and procedures accurately for element manufacturing - Routine checking of all parameters on the manufacturing equipment (calibration checks, pressures, thickness, length, etc.) - Use a variety of hand and power tools - Maintain inventory of the materials and supplies necessary for production - Collect production data and complete daily productions logs - Report problems with product quality, processes, equipment and materials to management in a timely manner in form of detailed organized notes If you are interested, please respond with your most updated resume, and the best time and phone number to reach you at.
