Seek help with Facebook issue

Hi All. I would appreciate assistance on a Facebook issue, if you have the magic secret to solve it. I administer two Facebook pages. One show a constant "45 new" indication with a blue circle. When I go to the page, however, there are no new anythings to clear. I only get this "45 new" on the PC/browser version of Facebook....not in the mobile app. Different browsers on the PC show the same thing. Clearing the cache does not help. Any guidance on how to clear this up? Thanks in advance...
