Singer/bassist looking for collaborators to write nerdy metal

33 y/o singer/bassist, moved to LA right before the pandemic, trying to connect with some people to write original music with. Now when I say metal I mean more old school, closer to hard rock than death/black/metalcore-- Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, or anything Ronnie James Dio sang. Wouldn't classify Rush as metal obviously but they're also a big influence. I'd like the lyrics to have that fantasy/literary vibe but not necessarily take itself too seriously, would love to inject a little Protomen/Tenacious D/Ninja Sex Party energy if possible.
