Hi I have a chihuahua/miniature dachshund mix that I desperately need to rehome. Her name is Bubbles because she’s really energetic and has a very bubby personality. I got her not too long ago but am now finding out that she’s very aggressive, I think she might have more of a chihuahua personality than a dachshund. The person I got her from said she was born sometime around December so she would be almost 4 months old now. I was also told when I got her that she is good with kids/other people but she is not. My sister and her kids came over a few days ago and Bubbles was extremely aggressive towards them. Every time they would try to pet her she would snarl and bare her teeth. I just cannot have a dog that shows any signs of aggressive behavior. I have 3 young nephews and a niece who i’m afraid Bubbles would end up biting. That’s the main reason I’m needing to rehome her. The other is we’re having a problem getting her to use the potty outside when we take her. I’ve walked around outside with her for 30 minutes each time I take her out and she won’t go. But as soon as I get back inside she’ll pee/poop. I’m not really sure how to train her not to do that and unfortunately I just don’t have the time to. I’m hoping someone with more patience and time than I have, can. I paid $500 for her and would like to recoup that back, so her rehoming fee will be that amount (it is negotiable though). Because of her aggression, I think it’s best if she goes to a home with no younger children and no bigger dogs (she’s been attacking our husky). I’ve already gotten quite attached to her and I hate to have to do this, but I think it’s what’s best for her and our family. I want her to go to a loving home with someone who has more time to devote to her than I do. She really is such a sweet dog and I think she would make a great companion for someone that doesn’t have any children, who is looking for a funny, cuddly, pup!
