Description
I had a bad case of the covid virus about a year ago. Since then it's been a long, slow recovery. They call it Long Covid Syndrome. I haven't been contagious for many months, just making very slow progress with healing. Being 68, with COPD and diabetes, they tell me I'm very lucky to have survived at all. I still can't breathe normally or walk very well because of the lung damage and lymphedema (swelling) in my legs. It's slowly getting better, but I still can't do much. So I'm looking for a helper for a few hours a week for housekeeping, laundry, errands etc. --I don't need help in the bathroom, in case you were wondering, and since it's craigslist, I guess I should mention that I'm not looking for a topless helper or anything sexual. Also, I don't have any opioids, tranquilizers, or anything worth stealing.
So now that we've got all that out of the way...If you can't do this on a volunteer basis, I can pay some, but not a lot. Say, up to $12 an hour (depending on your experience etc.) for up to 12 hours a week, but I don't deduct taxes, social security, etc... I'm told that is the equivalent of $18 an hour if I was deducting standard withholding. I can pay cash at the end of each workday. Hours and days you would work are up to you although I'm generally not too great with early mornings. I'm located just off highway 75 South, right next to the Creek turnpike, so it's 10 minutes from downtown Tulsa and an easy trip from anywhere in the area.
Please respond using this Craigslist email relay. Tell me about your work experience, and your vaccination status. You WILL need a legitimate vaccination card. You must also pass a background check. Minor infractions are okay but most felonies are not. You need to have a driver's license and reliable transportation (I'm about 3 miles past the last bus stop.)
