This weeks highlights in conservative politics. Congress meets with Big Oil CEOs to ask about price gouging and profiteering due to the high cost of gas while these corporations are reporting billions of dollars in profit from this high cost. Their best excuse came from congressman Steve Scalise of Louisiana. Biden told use to do it! One would have to guess Scalise was referring to back before the Covid-19 recovery when the oil tankers were sitting at the ports full of oil and the oil companies were bitching about it costing them more in store the oil than the oil is worth. Biden suggested that maybe they should stop pumping so much oil since there is no demand. The second-best of the week would be governor Greg Abbott discovering that Texans are too cheap to pay for the border wall that he has promised them, so now he is planning on loading all of the immigrants on buses and dropping them off in front of the White House. Some more fine thinking from the party that points fingers, but can not govern.
