Here are some of the downsides to roofing sales: - Door knocking/canvassing neighborhoods is the primary source of leads for new people. However, the name of the game is to provide exceptional customer service to each and every customer so that they will refer you to others. In time you’ll have enough referrals coming to where you won’t need to nor have time to knock doors. - Your income fluctuates. Aside from the $1,000 training stipend we provide, this role is strictly commission. We pay 10% of the total contract amount (plus bonuses). The average single-family home will make you around $1,200 in commission. - You will be climbing on roofs. We provide all of the equipment and will teach you all the tips and tricks to climb safely. We also provide a drone for roofs that are too steep or are too dangerous to climb. Here are some of the Upsides to roofing sales: - We provide paid training that is specifically designed for folks with no prior construction experience. - As long as you have the drive and willingness to learn, you will make great money. One of our salesman, Darrell, is 23 fresh out of college and made $10k last month. And he’s been selling small roofs. $100k-$150k a year and beyond is very doable if you’re willing to hustle and put in the work. The size of your paychecks will directly reflect how much work you put in. - You set your own hours. You work as little or as much as you want depending on your financial goals and how much money you’re looking to make. The only time do you have to be somewhere is for our bi-monthly sales meetings. - You have a supportive team behind you with extensive experience in the industry.
