Pedestrian Dies In Cape May County Collision

MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A crash killed a pedestrian Saturday night in Middle Township. Police pronounced Frederick Dunn, of Wildwood, dead at the scene. The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday at Route 47 and 5th Street, police said. Dunn, 39, crossed Route 47 against the traffic light and outside the crosswalk when a vehicle hit him, police said. Members of the Middle Township Police Department's Crash Team and Major Crime Unit assisted in the investigation, which is ongoing.
