Wonderful family is looking for an experienced full-time Chef to regularly prepare lunch and dinner at their home in Bel Air. The family is looking for a creative Chef that is top level in casual and fining dining, parties on occasion as well as meals and snacks for private aircraft. They prefer a healthy approach to California style and global cuisines that work with what is in season from local farmers markets, as well as lovely seasonal creations for meals and snacks. Keeping the fridge fully stocked with fresh juices and small grab meals and snacks. Attentive to cleanliness, managing shopping, keeping pantries stocked and inventoried, clearing out expired goods from refrigerator and pantry. Creating weekly menus for review at the beginning of each week. Chef will oversee events and parties; client will hire extra staff as needed. The Chef will work either Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. Key Responsibilities: • Menu options are provided and approved 1 week in advance • Chef handles kitchen cleanup and organization, housekeeper handles all other cleaning • Chef will provide Estate Manager with any items in Kitchen and Pantry that need to be replaced or refilled • Chef is responsible for table service except for larger parties where additional help may be brought on • All food shopping is performed by chef Requirements: • Able to work in the United States • Experience as a private chef for at least 5 years– private yacht experience valuable • Ability to produce creative menus with depth of variety • Restaurant quality preparation and presentation • Unshakeable service mentality – absence of “chef ego” • Access to latest culinary trends and ability to tastefully integrate to the menu cycle • General knowledge of local restaurants – able to suggest dining experiences • Recognized sanitation certification, exceptional hygiene and organization skills • Extreme discretion and professionalism in a highly sensitive environment • Background check, references and NDA Qualifications • At least years’ experience as a Private Chef • Casual as well as Formal/Fine Dining menus and presentations • COVID vaccinated • Must be okay to travel with advance notice Great compensation and benefits package available
