DESCRIPTION: JK Communications & Construction Inc, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire a Directional Drill Operator for our operations in Southern California. Responsibilities: • Responsible for operating directional bore equipment for underground utility construction • Assist foreman and/or supervisors with all assigned duties • Responsible for operating trenchers, plows, backhoes, and bobcats • Required to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws when needed • Work in the field with the crews completing work Requirements & Qualifications • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a PLUS+++ • Meet all DOT requirements • Must have previous knowledge and experience of underground utility installations • Ideal candidates will have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and follow job specifications and orders • Ability to communicate with Teammates • Willingness to work and follow directions • Willingness to travel a plus Bilingual and prior construction experience is a plus BENEFITS • Health Insurance • Dental Insurance • Life Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Savings Program Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
