Description
Hey,
Drummer, vocalist and lead guitarist are looking for an experienced bass player for a newly forming hard rock cover band. Eventually there’s great potential to write original material as well. We’d like to build out 3 sets of high energy rock music from the 70’s, arena hard rock/metal from the 80’s, modern rock from the 90’s through to newer bands as well.
Everyone has musical experience, pro gear, positive attitudes, along with a sweet rehearsal space. This group has more than enough capability to be dangerous once we get rolling! Our goal is to locate a bassist who’s patient (with positive attitude) and willing to put the work in for a long term frequent gigging opportunity.
We are dedicated happy babies with a great sense of humor (no egos or hangups). We enjoy fostering a true brotherhood which means more to us than pure technical abilities or excessive drinking and drug use. Alpha ruler dogs need not apply!
I admit it might take us a little longer than an existing band “ready to go”. This being said, I’d rather start something fresh than sign up for an overplayed boring set list with lousy people in a mediocre gigging band. Does that make sense? Can you see the forest through the trees? If so, you should not hesitate and reach out. There’s lot’s of venues and private parties with pent up demand for live high energy rock music.
We have the option of rehearsing in the Finger Lakes and/or the Syracuse area in trying to accommodate everyone’s tolerance for commuting to practice. Please reach out to learn more. Especially if you are stuck in a lousy band and want to secure an extremely positive escape plan.
It should not take us long to rack songs if you have a good work ethic, patience and the appetitive to truly make it happen.
Sincere thanks!
