LOWER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Six kittens were dumped in the woods in Lower Township, according to Shore Animal Control. The felines are safe now, but animal control is looking for who's responsible. Three people found the kittens crying in a crate near the bridge that crosses to West Cape May, Shore Animal Control said Friday. Officials took them to the Cape May County Animal Shelter in Cape May Court House. "These tiny little souls are friendly they have been raised around people someone somewhere knows something!" Shore Animal Control wrote on Facebook. Anyone with information should call Shore Animal Control at 800-351-1822. The agency covers several municipalities in Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland and Camden Counties.
