Local staging company based in Ruskin looking for the right person to assist our team. We need an experienced, conscientious box truck driver/mover/packer/handy person with a valid driver's license, clean driving record, no points or accidents, with flexible hours who has experience driving at least a 24 ft box truck, do moderate lifting/moving/packing of furniture and in home setup and pays careful attention to detail. Duties include: Driving box truck Loading and unloading box truck Careful blanketing and packing of furniture into truck- Damage control is important to us. Careful wrapping and packing of decorative items, lamps, artwork, etc in bins and boxes, then loading onto box truck Pack truck efficiently and carefully to avoid damage Assist with in home setup: dust furniture hang pictures iron linens, etc. while we are at the job Skills/Qualities Needed: Experience driving at least a 24 ft box truck Clean driving record, no points Reliable Careful Good attitude Good organizational skills and careful attention to detail Ability and desire to follow verbal directions Ability to lift 75 pounds Flexible schedule - typically needed 2-4 days a week, about 6- 10 hours a day, but sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. Work independently, but also within a group. We all work together to get the job done. Someone who wants to work and takes pride in what they do. Can get the job done in a timely manner Professional appearance and friendly manner Pay: $15 starting. This is a contract job - no benefits. State your AVAILABILITY as well.
