Join Bowdoin female student-athletes and the nonprofit organization Strong Girls United for a FREE on campus event for girls!
In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, Bowdoin College is collaborating with the nonprofit organization, SG United Foundation ("Strong Girls United") on an event for community elementary and middle school girls. Bowdoin student-athletes will be coaching and mentoring participants through activities that focus on teamwork, social connection, physical activity, and girls empowerment!
Bring sneakers and a water bottle.
The event will be held on the women's soccer field. Space is limited. Each participant must register.
There are many home games and events that day (tennis, lacrosse, track & field, softball, etc.) Please join us and the Polar Bears for a day of sports and empowerment!
Current Bowdoin COVID-19 protocols is mask optional outdoors. Should we need to be inside due to weather, masks are mandatory (location TBD).
