A local animal rescue seeks a good foster home or forever home for 10-month old Louie, a sweet active boy who is neutered, fully vaccinated and heartworm negative! Our rescue will provide a dog crate, food, collar, leash and anything he may need in foster care. His description is below. Lab/Pointer/pit mix Male, 10 months old, 50 pounds Fully vaccinated, heartworm negative Now here is a pup who will keep you thoroughly entertained and laughing at his silly antics! He is funny and sweet--and loves to run and play with anyone who will engage with him! Lewy was rescued from Walton County shelter in Monroe, GA, when his time had run out. This poor dog was kept outside all his life so it's really a blessing when he was surrendered to the shelter. Now Louie can have a good life with an owner who will keep him inside as a companion and he will certainly make a great one! He has already learned his commands in his foster home in Georgia and is now housebroken and crate trained. He is great with other dogs and loves to play fetch, although he still needs work on the "return"! Louie will also need a fenced in yard so he can run to his heart's content!
