Penn and Beech and PaperBloom are joining forces for an evening of candle pouring and personal paper peony bouquet creating! Join Penn and Beech Candle Co. and PaperBloom for an evening of candle pouring and a guided paper peony bouquet workshop! Starting at 5:30, you’ll pour your own custom-scented 11oz candle! With more than 100 fragrances, you’ll find more than a handful you’ll love. That’s where our Scent Experts come in – they’ll help you narrow down your list to just a few scents that blend perfectly together. You’ll design your label and mix your oils to create your truly unique custom scent, which you’ll then pour and stir. While the candles cure, you will be in a guided workshop for creating your own custom paper peony bouquet, perfect to welcome the spring blooming season. Lea Gray, a local artist and owner of PaperBlooms Design, will show you easy and fun techniques on how to create a beautiful, realistic paper peony. Learn how to curl, stretch and form paper, as well as create the leaves and stem work. Penn and Beech in Old Worthington happily encourages its guests to take advantage of the DORA and supporting local retailers. Our shop is next door to multiple beverage vendors, which guests are welcome to partake in during the event.
