Come + engage with the SIB team as we kick off our 2022 season with good libations, high vibrations, food, and community! SIB | Who We Are. We curate high-vibe, socially forward creative experiences through diverse event series that fuse together different art mediums to resonate with our stories, traditions, and lived experiences of / for Black and Brown communities. By creating spaces for Black and Brown creatives to thrive, we acknowledge + embrace all displays of individuality, cultivating higher self practices + strengthening intersections within the community. The Culture Set | Meet + Greet Information. SIB | The Culture Set is a chance for our community to kick it with our team + get more familiar with Scripted in Black’s mission of creating community amongst Black and Brown millennials, prioritizing Black creative culture + all it entails. This donation-based event is set to help us grow our organization, expand our reach, and have a good time while doing it! The Culture Set is guaranteed to be a good time with the latest tunes from DJ Homicide, signature cocktails from The Liquor Lab, and a variety of tasty bites to appease any appetite from DeVour Catering. Even better, all attendees get an exclusive look into our original SIB Lifestyle Essentials Statement Apparel Collection, Deeply Rooted! You gotta be there! This is an RSVP'd event with donations starting at $10, and if you feel inclined we appreciate beyond that! Also, if you can't afford that at the moment, please pay what you can and still come on out. We are grateful + thankful regardless. Are there ID, minimum age, or safety requirements to enter the event? The age requirement for this gathering is 18 and up, but 21+ for buying and consuming alcoholic beverages. Please wear a mask when not eating or drinking! What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is FREE parking available at Sage Event Space. Will tickets be sold at the door? No, tickets are sold ahead of time so we can make sure we have all the food + drinks needed. Your RSVP acts as your ticket to The Culture Set, with donations starting at $10. If you cannot afford to pay that, please still RSVP + pay what you can! Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? You can bring a printed ticket if you'd like, but we do keep track of purchased and donated tickets so it's not necessary.  Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? It is okay if you are going in place of someone who can no longer go OR if the ticket was bought as a gift for you. All other situations require the purchaser to be the event attendee. Please make sure that is outlined in the Notes section when purchasing if it is a gift! How can I contact the organizer with any questions? There is a no refund policy on all donations. All sales are final, and we appreciate your understanding + investment in the culture!
