Our Newburyport manufacturing client is hiring a temp to hire Production Associate for a full-time Monday-Friday 6AM-3PM position at $19-20/hour. This is a growing and well-run shop that produces parts for aerospace, medical device and automotive industries. In addition to this position, they are hiring for machine operations and material handler roles. Responsibilities: -Load parts into tumblers for finishing and drying. -Run parts through cascade/separator to clean them prior to packaging. =Package parts for shipment. -Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory (certification not required) -Check parts for visual defects. -Set-up and operate automatic scales. -Inspect equipment for proper operation. -Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area. =Comply with quality management system requirements Requirements: -Some mechanical ability -Basic record keeping and organizational skills -Some mechanical aptitude -Strong attention to detail -All candidates will be required to pass a CORI background check and drug screen that does not include marijuana.
