Celebrating 156 Years of Freedom Juneteenth is a federal holiday which marks the end of slavery in the United States. It commemorates African-American freedom and is observed annually on June 19. As we move beyond the urgency of providing vaccinations, our theme this year is "Career Readiness" offering meaningful job solutions. Moving community members to "Career Readiness" can add value to all of our lives. We’re asking organizations/sponsors to provide job interviews during this celebration and will have resources to assist with readiness (resume building, etc.) for those who need it. Health and wellness will always be a priority as Your Health is Your Wealth. Mental health and Chronic diseases are issues that we will ask our medical partners to address during Juneteenth in The Park both on and off stage. We will still have the music, free food, games, and prizes that are sponsored by our valued partners. We look forward to you being a part of Juneteenth in the Park 2022
