Nutrition 101: Spring Salads!
We believe that growing and eating nutritious food is the source of power for our bodies and our communities!
Join us as we explore all the different ingredients we can use to make a salad. Kacey, our Recirculating Farms intern who is pursuing a Masters In Public Health at Tulane will discuss all the different ways to incorporate vitamins and minerals into our diets through the foods that grow around us. We'll have all the ingredients ready to make all kinds kinds of salads. All you need to do is show up ready to eat with your friends and family!
Class begins at 10:30 AM. We kindly ask that you arrive around 15 mins before to get signed in and situated. All class participants are required to sign our Liability Waiver and COVID Questionnaire prior to entering our garden and farm sites.
