I honestly don't really know where to start.i have tried to ask for help on this app before and I honestly am starting to really loose my faith in people.i know everyone has there own issues and these days things are just getting harder.i have been in a very abusive relationship for many years it took me a long time to get out.but now that I have it's been over 3 years and I am still couch surfing because I can't afford my own place.i don't have any family or good people in my life.i been through alot and all I want is to have a place I can call home.i don't have any drama or problematic people in my life.i get SSI and I have some health conditions that stop me from working.i pray everyday I wake up to a phone call that a long list relative left me a house somewhere.but that's never going to happen.i made a post a few months back but everytime I tried to respond to the messages I did get they weren't getting sent for some reason.if you took the time to read this I want to thank you,if you have an idea how I can get my own place for under $350 a month.i know that's insane but I know there are programs that help with people in my situation I just don't know how.i fill out so many different things and nothing real comes out of it.i get put on waiting lists etc.i am looking for a way to make money and a home.i would very much appreciate if anyone could give me advice or maybe u have an apartment u want to rent out for really cheap.i don't drive but I'm willing to move out of the city as long as there is a bus or something.i would very much appreciate if u can email me straight cause I can't respond on here for some reason or tell me how.i was even looking into maybe a foreclosure but I don't know anything about any of that.i just want a home.i honestly never had my own sadly.im very ashamed of the person I am today.im hoping in a place of own I will be able to focus on other things instead of worrying where I'm going to sleep.i know there are shelters I tried those they are not helpful at all.especially here in NYC.i would appreciate if u can reach out to me tell me how to respond on here or send me it direct email or something.cause I don't know how it just stays in my outbox.
