Come to the Joseph Moore Museum for a fully-immersive murder mystery! Welcome the Dreamscape! A world formed from the countless dreaming minds of the Material World! This land is inhabited by powerful Gods, beautiful Fairies, and scary Boogeymen, and overseen by an ancient being known as the Sandman. The Sandman maintains the peace between the three groups, as well as the border between this world and the Material One. Unfortunately, tragedy has struck. The previous Sandman has been found dead. As they were supposedly unkillable, this discovery has led to chaos and concern across the Dreamscape. The important leaders of the three major groups, as well as a collection of some of the most powerful dreamers, have been gathered to determine who among them shall become the next Sandman and discover who could have committed this despicable crime! When/Where: April 30th from 7pm to 10pm at the Joseph Moore Museum. Ages Recommended:This event is recommended for ages 18+ for complexity and some minor adult content. What Kind of Event is This? This is a fully-immersive event where you take on the role of a character to solve a murder. This event is inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman, particulary The Sandman comics. Costumes are highly encouraged. What Do I Need to Do to Attend? Preregister to ensure your slot and fill out a short questionaire you receive as part of your registration confirmation to get your character. A few days before the event, you will receive your character's information to the email you provide so you can prepare. Each character will come with their own background story, motivations, and goals to complete throughout the night. Can I Participate if I Have Never Done This Before? Of course! We will be sure to choose a character that will fit your experience and interests. Rules and overall concepts will be taught at the beginning of the night and you will have lots of reference materials available along with the game master to provide support. **Masks and social distancing recommended.
