This event is being held to build upon and expand the work being done to bring awareness to the issues affecting underserved communities each day and to discuss the role of the church as it pertains to increasing its power and leadership in communities like District 2. The goal is to increase awareness for the need of churches to lead in the effort of social economic improvement through civic engagement, providing them with the tools necessary to carry out the asks of its constituents, and a roadmap that outlines the pertinent steps that are needed to be successful, as trusted political leaders and advisors.
