Incredible New England Design Hall of Fame Builder F.H. Perry's Jim Fascaldo shares lessons learned about high end materials through time. Featured in Boston Magazine, The Boston Globe, Design New England and nationally recognized with multiple awards and inducted into the New England Design Hall of Fame, the renowned luxury home construction company F.H. Perry Builder will be presenting on the lessons learned through time. Account Executive Jim Foscaldo will be giving an in depth presentation on high end construction. How to build to last. Jim notes that, "After taking apart hundreds of homes, the ones that were built before 1940 where much better than ones built in the 1970’s and onward. Speed was king. Cheaper materials ruled the day. Old growth, dense materials weren’t available. It was a race to the lowest cost, as a result design suffered too. In high end homes, the end result of the product needs to be put ahead of a cheap solution." With extensive experience in fine-home building Jim offers the discerning points and critical insights into high-end residential construction. He has worked with F.H. Builder for over 16 years, graduated from the Bentley University and has developed an extensive knowledge of the newest, and oldest, materials used in luxury homes. He will be giving a 40 minutes presentation regarding the complexities of materials used through history and the newest innovations used in homes today. This will be followed with a Q&A sessions for your most pressing questions.
