Description
Absolutely heartbroken typing this.
We are needing to rehome our German Shepard, he is a year old so not yet full grown. He is intact due to not being full grown. 80 lbs.
Fully vetted, due for his 1 year check come August. He is well behaved with some puppy habits still around but very easy to train and work with as he is more submissive. He can sit, lay, shake, wait, and he is VERY good with kids as we have two young children. He is good with our cat but she is not his biggest fan. Good with strangers unless unwelcomed. All around the best dog I’ve ever had.
The reason for re homing him is because when we got him, our family had the time as I was a stay at home parent. He spent time in his crate only when we were not home. Now we are in a position where I need employment, and that change came rapidly. We have done what we could to make it work but unfortunately he is spending far too much time in his crate to be fair to him. His quality of life is not what it should be anymore and as much as I want to be selfish and keep him, we cannot leave him out when we are gone and he spends 10-12 hours a day in a crate. So we have made the difficult decision to give him to someone who can provide the love and exercise he so desperately deserves.
He will come with all of his toys, his crate, his dog food, his bowls, treats, treat container, collar, lead, nail trimmer, brush, cologne, etc.
There will be a rehoming fee, and we will ask questions before just giving him to someone.
