Are you smitten with kittens? Then this is the most wonderful time of the year! It’s Kitten Season. The Austin Humane Society’s 8th Annual Kitten Shower, presented by Heritage Ranch by H-E-B and the Nicholas J. Juried Family Foundation, is happening on May 14th, 2022! This is a kitten-themed, family-friendly community event featuring adorable kittens and cats, kitten yoga, children’s activities, a bake-off competition, kitten donation drive, and paw-some local vendors. New in 2022 - Our inaugural Bake-off Competition. The ultimate baking battle is coming to AHS! Join us as local bakers enter their most decadent bite and let the tasters decide who will win this year’s competition. Taste our delicious bites from: Cakes RockHank'sLa PatisserieNew in 2022 - Kitten Shower V.I.P.! Show your love of all things cats and kittens by purchasing our $35 VIP Ticket. You will receive a paw-some swag-bag, commemorative gift and a free tasting ticket for our Inaugural Kitten Shower Bake-off. Kitten Shower will be hosted at the Austin Humane Society from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Our Bake-off winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m. Join us for this free event with your General Admission ticket. Be in the "meow" during our 8th Annual kitten Shower with a fun yoga session featuring the real masters of the cat pose - kittens! Back by popular demand, this 45-minute stress relieving class is lead by certified yoga instructor and friend of AHS, Abby Fine. Class time: Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
