Hi, I'm a drummer looking for a band or duo to gig around the Northshore. A bit about myself, I grew up playing rock, but over the last ten years, I started delving into old time drumming styles, expanding in to using brushes and exploring rootsy musical styles. Starting playing as a teen, been behind the kit for about 25 years now, mostly self taught. Played small bars/gigs around the area back in the day, and played around the Ann Arbor, Michigan scene for 4 years or so, played Top of the Park, The Ark, many local bars and a few venues in Detroit. Back home now and looking to gig again. -What you get with me: a sit back in the pocket drummer, who provides a solid groove to complement your singing/guitar/piano/whatever instruments are in the band or duo. Also I am always aware of volume control, never had a complaint of being one of those drummers trying to blow the roof off. Open to many styles, and can fit in with an acoustic group or amplified setting. Last two bands I've been in have been fronted by female vocalists.
