Please join KITE and Kern Venture Group for KC2, the inaugural Kern Capital Conference. At this event, attendees will gain insight from experienced founders and investors on how to evaluate and invest in startups and early stage companies in Kern County. The keynote speaker will be David Walker, the co-founder of Firestone Walker Brewery. David Walker is a tireless advocate of craft beer who fuels the creative energy behind Firestone Walker. He worked in the world of high-tech before co-founding the brewery with his brother-in-law Adam Firestone in 1996. Known around here as “the Lion” in a nod to his English heritage, David is always in motion and never not working on the next big thing. He relies on a bias for small enterprise and a passion for pale ales to drive Firestone Walker forward while remaining true to the brewery’s roots. Atul Minocha will also present at KC2. He will share his insight from his work in angel investing and marketing consulting. In addition to listening to an exciting line-up of speakers, all guests will be served the Luigi's classic chicken and tri-tip meal.
